Bio

Zara Lisbon is a writer of fiction and poetry. She grew up in Venice, California, has a BA in English from Loyola Marymount University, and an MFA in Creative Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts.

She has published poetry and short fiction in La Miscellany, Attic Salt, FORTH Magazine, Able Muse, and Cheap Pop Lit, as well as bylines at HelloGiggles, HitFix, and the Observer. Fake Plastic World  is the sequel to her first novel, Fake Plastic Girl. Baby’s First Apocalypse is her first book of poetry.
